Session Two- Supporting Visual Learning with Images in MimioStudio
Objective:
1. Participants will explore ways in which MimioStudio software can support various learning styles.
2. Participants will learn various tools within MimioStudio software.
3. Participants will create an activity incorporating a MimioStudio visual object to support student achievement of a learning objective.

Teaching and Learning Activities:
- Participants will use the "Learning Styles" MimioStudio resource to discuss:
- Ways using interactive software will support different learning styles.
- The behaviors of visual, kinesthetic/tactile, and auditory learners.
- Ways incorporating graphics, videos, and interactivity engages students.
- Instructor will lead the participants to:
- Learn and practice various MimioStudio tools: shape, duplicate, clone, group, order, align, lock, and rotate.
- Learn and practice using the MimioStudio Gallery to locate images, Flash files, templates and pre-made lessons.
Formative Assessment:
- Participants will create an interactive activity using tools learned, images, and Flash in order to support various student learning styles and will be assessed with rubric supplied by instructor.
