Session Three- Creating Student-Centered Interactive Activities in MimioStudio
Objective:
1. Participants will evaluate the role of MimioStudio activities and resources in implementing effective instruction.
2. Participants will learn various tools within MimioStudio software.
3. Participants will create an activity with multiple opportunities for student interaction

Teaching and Learning Activities:
Participants will use the "Effective Instruction" MimioStudio resource to discuss the following:
- How does integrating or utilizing technology in instruction support many effective instructional practices?
Instructor will lead participants to:
- Learn and practice how to open up and convert various applications into MimioStudio.
- Learn and practice using the reveal, spotlight, and text tools.
- Modify and create activities using the text, shape, clone, insert, and editing text tools.
- Access MimioConnect and download content packs to use in creating interactive activities.
Formative Assessment:
- Participants will create a student-centered interactive activity and will be assessed with rubric supplied by instructor.
