Session Four - Delivering Multimedia Content in Instruction with MimioStudio
Objective:
- Participants will explore the implications of copyright and intellectual property when creating MimioStudio activities.
- Participants will learn various tools within MimioStudio software.
- Participants will create an activity that provides for a variety of learning styles and multiple opportunities for student interaction.
Maryland Technology Teacher Standards:
Teaching and Learning Activities:
- Participants will use the "Copyright and Intellectual Property" MimioStudio document to determine guidelines for hte use of others' products and ideas.
- Instructor will lead participants to:
- Learn and practice hyperlinking files and recording and adding sounds to their MimioStudio activities
- Learn and practice using page transitions, calculator, screen annotations, and action settings
Formative Assessment:
- Participants will create an interactive activity using multimedia and other tools learned and will be assessed with rubric supplied by the instructor.
